As you climb, fresh air and spectacular views accompany you until you reach Canfranc, famous for its historic international railway station. An ideal stop to relax after an exciting day of curves and changing landscapes.

Day 2
From the Heights to the Atlantic

The day begins in the mountains, we start the day by driving along the winding roads that descend towards the valley, where the Pyrenees begin to open up. We will then descend along winding roads towards the valleys of Navarre. On the way, discover the cultural richness of Pamplona before continuing on to Hondarribia, where the Atlantic welcomes you with its cool breeze and gives us a breathtaking view. Stroll through its walled old town and savour the famous Basque pintxos in a charming setting.

Day 3
Rural Charm in the South of France

Crossing the border, the roads take you through picturesque French villages such as Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, with its sloping-roofed houses and cobbled streets. Narrow, well-maintained roads lead through rolling hills and dense forests. We pass through quiet villages where time seems to stand still, enjoying the French rural charm. Finally, we reach Oloron-Sainte-Marie, a small town at the foot of the Pyrenees with a rich cultural and architectural heritage, ideal for exploring after a relaxing day on the bike.

Day 4

This is an epic day in the mountains Today you will cross legendary passes such as the Tourmalet and the Col d'Aubisque, iconic roads of the Tour de France. The challenging bends and panoramic views are every biker's delight. You will arrive in Vielha, in the Val d'Aran, surrounded by mountains and with the opportunity to enjoy traditional dishes such as olla aranesa. The arrival in Vielha is breathtaking, surrounded by imposing mountains and a calm atmosphere perfect for recharging your batteries after a demanding day.

Between Andorra and the Catalan Pyrenees

We bid farewell to Vielha and head towards Andorra, where the mountains dominate the horizon and the roads invite you to enjoy every bend. The mix of slopes and valleys gives us a vibrant ride, with stops in high mountain villages that offer warmth and local gastronomy. Rolling towards Andorra, you pass through high mountain landscapes with welcoming villages that invite you to stop and enjoy the local hospitality. After exploring the modern streets of Andorra, the road continues to Puigcerdá, a charming Catalan enclave with panoramic views and a rich gastronomic offer. This charming Pyrenean village, with its lake and panoramic views, is an ideal place to relax the body after an impressive tour.

Day 6
From the Mountains to the Mediterranean

We start the day descending along a mountain road that winds through green landscapes, challenging our driving skills. We cross back into France along country roads until we reach Macanet de Cabrenys, a charming village where nature is the main protagonist. Back in Spain to continue to Cadaqués, surrounded by views of the Mediterranean. The route takes you along rural and mountain roads towards the Mediterranean coast. The arrival in Cadaqués is unforgettable: a picturesque seaside village that inspired Dalí, with its bohemian air and stone streets. Dine by the sea and enjoy the flavours of the Mediterranean while reflecting on your adventure.

  • Early return due to hospitalization of a family member: full coverage

If your luggage is lost on a scheduled flight, ARAG will do everything possible to locate it and keep you updated. If found, it will be delivered to you at no cost.

Exclusions:

Countries in a state of war, insurrection, or armed conflict (even if not officially declared) are excluded from coverage, as well as those specifically listed in your policy.

The insurer’s obligations under this policy end once the insured has returned to their habitual residence or has been admitted to a medical center within 30 km of it.

If you cannot reach the company through regular channels, you may contact ARAG via WhatsApp at +34 670 425 960. This system may only be used for the first contact with the company and under no circumstances may personal data or documents be sent, in compliance with current Data Protection regulations.

Of course! These routes are designed to be 100% on asphalt and are organized so you can follow the checkpoints either through GPS or the corresponding GPS app.

All types of motorcycles are welcome, but given the daily mileage, we recommend bikes of at least 250cc. Your riding experience will allow you to fully enjoy every one of our trips — these routes are accessible and enjoyable for any rider.

On full riding days, we’ll cover an average of 250 to 350 km per day. Along the way, we’ve planned photo stops, food experiences, and rest breaks so you can enjoy not only your motorcycle but also the beautiful areas we visit.

This way, you’ll have time for everything — from exploring to recharging your energy. Daily riding time is estimated at 4 to 6 hours.

Casual clothing is fine for your free time. At our facilities, we offer rental gear such as helmets, jackets, and gloves.

If you already have your own equipment, you’ll only need to bring your helmet, riding gear, and — depending on the season — rain gear.

Before the tour begins, we’ll send you our travel handbook, with useful information about the trip and a detailed checklist of the clothing and gear you should bring.

Yes, it is mandatory — and more importantly, it’s an essential element for your safety.

  • Europe: Participants from EU countries are not required to carry a passport, although we recommend having one. For participants from outside the EU, carrying a passport is mandatory.

  • Trips outside the EU: For all journeys taking place partly or entirely outside the EU, all participants must carry a passport valid for at least 6 months, as well as any required visas.

  • Motorcycle driving license:

    • For EU citizens, your license is valid in all EU member states, as well as in Turkey and Morocco.

    • For citizens of other nationalities, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required. This can usually be obtained through the Automobile Club or the relevant transport authority in your country.

    • For non-EU citizens, carrying an International Driving Permit is mandatory.

In all cases, both your passport and motorcycle license must be valid at the time of travel.

When booking international tours, it is essential to state your nationality, since some countries may require a visa for entry.

  • Morocco tours: All participants must carry a valid passport with a minimum validity of at least 6 months.

Mediterranean Routes provides liability and surety insurance.

In addition, through our rental partners, all vehicles are fully insured. Outside of Spain, we also carry the Green Card along with updated documentation from our insurance provider.

If you would like to purchase additional travel insurance, please contact us.

We always advise each participant on the riding level that best suits them, ensuring greater comfort and enjoyment on the road.

All our trips are classified into Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced riding levels — and in some cases, different levels may be combined within the same route.

Yes, there will be an initial briefing where we’ll go over traffic rules, stages, routes, and schedules. We’ll explain the itinerary in detail, the places we’ll pass through, expected weather and road conditions.

Of course, it will also be a great moment to share riding experiences and get into the spirit of the adventure together.

We offer several payment methods: credit/debit cards and bank transfer. The initial deposit to confirm your booking must be made through one of these methods.

However, the remaining balance may be paid in cash (Euros) on the day you receive the motorcycle.

Yes, the date will not be a problem. If you are a group of 3 or more motorcycles, you can contact us and we’ll organize the trip on the date that works best for you (subject to availability).

If the proposed trips are not exactly what you’re looking for, don’t worry. We’ll advise you based on your needs, interests, budget, and availability.

We’ll organize a unique journey just for you, fully tailored to what you want.

Of course! All our trips and events can be enjoyed with a companion.
In addition, the companion’s price is always reduced.

Because moto-touring is always better when shared.

For self-guided trips, there is no strict minimum or maximum number of motorcycles, although we recommend between 1 and 10 bikes for good group management.

For organized trips, the minimum is 3 motorcycles to carry out the tour, and the maximum is 10 motorcycles to ensure a personalized experience and adapt to each rider’s needs.

If the minimum of 3 motorcycles is not reached, the event will be canceled with at least 10 days’ notice, and 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.

All our hotels have been carefully selected by the Mediterranean Routes team, after personally visiting their facilities to ensure service quality.

Most hotels offer private covered parking. For those that do not provide this service, they either have a dedicated and monitored area to park our motorcycles or are located in safe areas with no risk.

Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather. If extreme adverse conditions occur, the tour leader(s) may decide to cancel the route for that day in order to ensure safety and preserve the integrity of the rest of the tour as much as possible.

It depends on the route and its duration. On some tours, breakfast and dinner are included, while on others only breakfast is covered.

Don’t worry — a few days before departure, the organization will provide you with an estimate of the amount of money you’ll need during the trip for meals, fuel, and other expenses.

Yes, absolutely. We offer a van service that can be booked on our tours for companions. On organized tours, the van also serves as a support and storage vehicle throughout the journey.
