As you head south, the hills and vineyards of Vila Real and Lamego offer a stunning visual setting. Coimbra, your destination for the day, is famous for its university, one of the oldest in Europe, and for its unique atmosphere. Stroll through its cobbled streets and try a delicious bacalao a bras.
