We start our exciting motorbike tour departing from Barcelona, with our first stop at Montserrat. This place is famous for its impressive rock formations and the Benedictine monastery that sits on the mountain. We enjoy the panoramic views and the serenity of the place, exploring the Basilica and listening to the famous children's choir of Montserrat.
After this enriching visit, we resume our march towards Solsona, a town full of history and charm. Solsona welcomes us with its well-preserved old town, full of medieval buildings and narrow alleys. We spend the night in Solsona, enjoying the local hospitality and perhaps tasting some of the region's culinary specialities.
The next day, we head towards Tuixent, a picturesque village in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees. The route offers breathtaking scenery, with majestic mountains and green valleys. From Tuixent, we undertake the exciting crossing of Pedraforca, one of the most iconic mountains in Catalonia, famous for its distinctive hairpin shape.
After the mountain adventure, we continue our journey to Besalú, a charming medieval village known for its Romanesque bridge over the river Fluvià and its well-preserved old town. We spend the night near Besalú, enjoying the magical atmosphere of this historic place and perhaps taking an evening stroll through its cobbled streets.
The next day we headed to one of the secret villages of Catalonia. Rúpit is a village that seems to have stopped in time. We continue our way to Cadaqués, one of the most picturesque coastal villages of the Costa Brava. Cadaqués is famous for its white houses, narrow streets and its association with the artist Salvador DalÃ. We spend the day exploring this beautiful village, visiting the Dali House-Museum and enjoying the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea.
After a day full of art and beauty we will stay in a hotel on the Mediterranean coast to relax before setting off for the last time.
The last day of our motorbike adventure begins along the famous Tossa de Mar road, one of the most spectacular routes on the Costa Brava. The road winds alongside the sea, offering breathtaking panoramic views and the chance to feel the sea breeze as we ride. Tossa de Mar, with its charming walled old town and golden beaches, is a perfect stop for a brief exploration.
From the coast, we ascend the Montseny, a mountain range that is a natural paradise. Here, we enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by the tranquillity of nature. Montseny is known for its biodiversity and varied landscapes, making this place a highlight of our trip.
Finally, we returned to Barcelona, completing a motorbike tour that has taken us through varied and spectacular landscapes, from mountains and valleys to picturesque coastal and medieval villages. Throughout the trip, we have enjoyed the rich history, culture and natural beauty of Catalonia, making this an unforgettable experience.
