Motorcycle Tours in Spain

When you make a reservation with Mediterranean Routes, you are entering into a contract governed by our General Conditions which comply with applicable EU consumer protection and e-commerce laws. By booking and paying, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which are legally binding between you and Mediterranean Routes. These conditions outline your responsibilities, limitations of liability, and the obligations of Mediterranean Routes regarding the delivery of services and equipment.

Full payment for your route must be made at least 1 Month before the start of the route. If full payment is not received by the due date, the booking will be automatically cancelled and all amounts previously paid will be forfeited without refund, regardless of the circumstances.

Our cancellation policy for routes is as follows:

• Cancellations up to 2 months before the start date receive a 100% refund minus a 15% administrative fee.
• Cancellations up to 1 month before the start date receive 50% refund (excluding expenses already committed).
• Cancellations between 30 and 15 days before the start date receive a 30% refund (excluding certain external contracted services).
• Cancellations less than 15 days before departure are not refundable.

Yes. Cancellations made within 15 days of the route start date are not entitled to any refund. Additionally, depending on contracted services (such as hotels or rentals), some third-party costs already incurred may not be recoverable. In certain cases, we may retain payments as a credit for future use instead of issuing a cash refund.

Yes, in many cases we can arrange alternative pick-up and drop-off locations (e.g., at major airports or city hubs such as Alicante or Barcelona), subject to availability and possible additional fees. This will be confirmed during booking.

We understand that travel plans can change. If you need to modify your route or adjust travel dates, please contact our support team as early as possible. Changes are generally possible if there is availability, though they may be subject to fees or rate differences depending on the specifics of your booking.

Our motorcycle rentals include basic insurance coverage with an excess (for example, around €1,500 on certain models). You will be informed of the exact excess and terms based on the motorcycle you select. Additionally, we offer optional upgrades such as enhanced insurance with reduced excess, GPS, luggage systems, crash bars, and other equipment. You can add these options during the booking process.

We provide 24/7 roadside assistance for rental motorcycles and supported tours, and you will have direct contact details for emergencies. If a motorcycle cannot be repaired promptly, we will prioritise a replacement whenever possible. Breakdown support includes logistical coordination, but exact response times may vary based on location.

For self-guided tours, there are no strict group size requirements — individuals, couples, and groups of friends are all welcome. For organized tours, some may require a minimum number of participants to operate, or we can tailor private group departures upon request.

Yes. Our teams monitor weather conditions and route safety. If severe weather or other unexpected issues arise, we will communicate alternatives such as adjusted daily programs, safer road options, or temporary pauses in the itinerary. We always prioritise the safety and satisfaction of participants, and will guide you through your options should a disruption occur.
